Trace, 2020
During the last couple of years I have investigated and developed a sculpture technique that combines glass blowing and sculpting with steel mesh. By Blowing the hot glass in to or on to steel mesh I get structure and form from the mesh. In this series, Trace, I wanted to make something in between function and sculpture. Having the human body and mind as inspiration this one has an organic body with traces from something no longer existing.
