Where It Happens, 2016
After The Tide, 2016
I have been working on drawings, pattern work, paper sculptures and installations that I combine with various printmaking techniques. I think of my art practice as an experiment in seeing how human emotions, nature, and science interact and connect with each other in images and space.
The autonomous order, structure, and rhythm in nature become great motifs. Not only do these phenomena influence my work in terms of its repetitive appearance, but they also cause me to reflect on the notion of our identity and the subconscious.
