Luxtriplicata
By deconstructing the photograph into its components and then reconstructing it in a new form, Källman takes departure in the cameraless technology. In a mixture of light, darkness and optics, the artist brings all this together in an attempt to make art more inclusive and playful.
To SEART2021, Källman presents Luxtriplicata. The visitor are greeted by an interactive prism carousel. By playing, spinning and building with the prisms, they can control the projections of colors and patterns that occur when white light is refracted in the prisms.
The technique is called dispersion. Some of the highlights where Luxtriplicata has been exhibited are; Burning Man, Way Out West, Christiania and Röda Sten Konsthall.
