To talk and think with a window, 2021
We have different windows around us, windows that all carry the possibility to expand our intimate spaces. The glass body of the window is the eye we experiencing the world through and the room is our consciousness.
The window carries the ability to hold us in-between our place of departure and our destination, arriving at a place of transition. The window is a liminal connection between inner and outer, the window link and separate, provide access yet exclude. The window reflects and reveals and makes us detached and distant, present and absent in the exact same moment. In this way the window place us in a precise state, a thickened time. The thickening of time is about the feeling of now, where the time is true and dissolved. It all starts at a window. The window as a time document, a location and a transition but also as the opportunity that also carries us away from the place.
