Put it on the table, 2012
Do we need references in order to understand objects?
How much familiarity does an object need to be understandable and accepted?
How far can an alienation from an archetypical object go until we lose contact to its usability?
The table installation PUT IT ON THE TABLE shows tableware objects that fluctuate between archetypes and strange, unrelated new creations.
In this constellation, it tries to offer new possibilities of perceiving tableware objects and question norms and rituals concerning contemporary food- and eating-culture.
