Brandsår
I work mainly with eggtempera and oil painting and I am interested in how fragility is expressed in the human body, the nature and in the painting it self.
The paintings with title Brandsår is from the surroundings close to my studio in Pukeberg in Småland. I often walk around in the area and express different kinds of fragility in places, objects and in my own body. In the studio later on I express another layer of fragility and also resistance when I carefully mix my eggtempera and trying to approach the canvas with my experiences. Just as the body and nature do resistance, the colors do the same and props at its own value. All I can do is to wait for the right moment so that everyone's will can grow together in the same work.
