I see computer technology as a tool and material, just like handcrafted paper. In this lighting, kinetic shadows poetically connect and blend the wide range of technology and material.
Pixels of Shadows is a modular kinetic artwork. Lines of shadows continuously appear and disappear while rotating, which shows a spectrum of randomness through the patterns. The movements are physically and digitally programmed to show randomness while being synced with each other from time to time.
Please enjoy the calm and serene moments together with this piece. You might not be clear of where the feelings and moments are coming from. That vagueness might be where the calmness is coming from.
