As part of my master's work at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Art. I studied the digital environment and the fascination with re-creation of reality in this context. Both from a user perspective but also in the underlying technical aspect. I am captivated by reality, the unreal and the balance between them. How something new might arise through attempts to recreate something that already exists.
About the artist
I was born in 1987 in the United States and grew up in Åland.
I have a master's degree in fine art from the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. After graduation, I moved back to Åland. Locally, I have continued to deepen my knowledge in the digital and constantly evolving environment. My interest lies primarily in how we are affected and changed by what is around us. How we face reality and how we understand it.
